Installations: Part I

This exhibition is the first of a two-part series that features site-specific installations. The five artists included in this show draw on both historical and personal imagery to examine how cultural and individual personas are created. Various cultural groups are represented, including African Americans from the 1960s and 70s, a fictional woman artist from the turn of the century, Oma Minion, as well as an imagined group of modern day monsters.
