Fifth Annual Video Marathon

On Saturday, January 11, 2003 from noon until midnight, Art in General will hold its Fifth Annual 12 to 12 Video Marathon. This 12-hour screening features a variety of programs including: From History to Memory: Some Views from the Video Zone curated by Sergio Edelstzein, Tel Aviv; Re-envisioning Dissent, a program of video works envisioning politics in visual culture; Selections from Transmediale Int’l Media Art Festival, Berlin; MONOCANAL: Selections of New Spanish Video Art, 1996-2001 from Reina Sofia, Madrid; Dinner/performance: a roving formal garden of food presented in a performance by Paco Rodriguez; two programs of emerging video artists’ work curated from general submissions; and live video/audio mixing from SQUARESQUARE with dj Sara Walker.
