Room Ten-36
Eric Rhein
Room Ten is composed of a series of works on paper that incorporate pages from medical textbooks covered with wire drawings of guardian angels, birds, and leaves. The installation hopes to convey the relationship between medical science and the human ability to transcend illness. According to the artist, Eric Rhein, “When the spiritual elements of the work are married with the scientific a broadened view of the human experience occurs.” This exhibition is presented in conjunction with Visual AIDS’ A Day With(out) Art.
