030wi95_2_lg_144_144S’more is an extension of the exhibition AdirondackLand, concurrently on view in Gallery 6. Created by sisters Betsy and Susie Brandt, two Adirondack natives, AdirondackLand features wall paintings and sculptural works that reject the romanticized notion of the Adirondacks. The exhibition is a continuation of the installation Adirondackland Factory Outlet, first shown at the Fort Edwards Arts Center in July of 1995. For the window installation, the artists have created an “AdirondackLand confection,” appropriately titled, S’more.
