Matchbook Show

Curated by John Rosis, this installation features works created on or with matchbooks. Two different installations will appear at Art in General over the course of the summer; larger works will concurrently be on exhibit at Foramen Magnum Gallery. A workshop will be held at the opening reception where the audience will be invited to make their own pieces. This exhibition was first held in 1983 at Club 57 in Manhattan, and more recently in 1990 at CBGB’s 313 Gallery.
