Bivouac Countdown

In commemoration of Visual AIDS’ A Day With(out) Art, Robert Seng has created an installation that exposes our nation’s failing health care system. Displayed in front of a backdrop of the White House are a number of medical items created by Seng such as crutches and canes, as well as bandaged found objects. Send has stated, “There are too many desperate people like me, without proper access to medical care and treatment. This in itself is emotionally crippling. Our country must readjust its values to see that people are its main resource and if they are not healthy and fulfilled this country cannot be.”
