Pink Project

For this installation, Portia Munson has filled the street-level window with found objects that have been culturally coded and manufactured in pink. Munson has written, “Through accumulation and juxtaposition, pink, a sign of femininity, is exposed in its full range of culturally-ambivalent meanings, and colors even ‘innocent’ objects with insidious connotations.”
