Fulfillment

Lynn E. Wadsworth addresses the issue of infant morality with her site-specific installation, Fulfillment. Glasses containing blotter paper, water and bean seeds are placed on three rows of shelves; one section is denied light and the other section is denied water. This metaphorical installation provocatively questions the fate of pregnant women that are denied access to adequate nutrition, housing and healthcare.
