Plane and Elevation

Curated by José Gabriel Fernández, this exhibition takes its title from the architectural terms, “plan” and “elevation”; the former refers to the conceptual rendering of a building, and the latter to its physical realization. Selected from Art in General’s open submissions process, the artists included in the exhibition explore architectural concerns such as scale, perspective and space, with model-sized works that address personal narratives and collective history.
