Reconfiguring Space: Blueprints for Art in General

In response to an open-call competition, Art in General presents Reconfiguring Space: Blueprints for Art in General, which features five proposals to redesign the non-profit space at 79 Walker Street. After being selected by curator Barbara Toll and a panel including Janet Anderson, Franky Antimisiaris, Adrienne Broadbear, Rise Endo, Elissa S. Levy, Thomas Shea, Barbara Suhr, Austin Tuon, and Corey Yurkovich, the finalists were awarded $2,000 to further develop their proposals. On exhibit will be models of their designs, as well as proposals by 40 other applicants.
