New Commissions artist, Jan Baracz has organized guest performers to participate in a special recording for Jan Baracz’s Reality Cinema/Live Video storefront cinema project exclusively for members. Insiders Members will be incorporated into the work and recorded as part of Baracz’s New Commission Project in Art in General’s Project Space.

Art in General’s Executive Director Anne Barlow will take members Inside the intriguing Bloomberg building for Art in General’s most recent exhibition through the Beyond Art in General Program. Curated by Sarah Lookofsky, Coming to You Live presents artworks that address the technological circumstances of live broadcasting and video works that reflect direct transmission in daily life.

Studio Tour with Dave Hardy
Join Art in General for an Insiders look at the studio of New Commissions artist, Dave Hardy in Brooklyn, New York. Members will tour the studio and learn about the inspiration behind Hardy’s Drop City Knockoff, a project that will explore the ubiquitous sidewalk stands that sell knock-offs in the Chinatown area surrounding Art in General.
