Space Rental

Art in General provides two unique rental spaces, its conference room and 6th floor gallery space, which feature open spaces, elegant hard wood floors and gallery setting lighting. The location allows your reception to become part of the contemporary artistic community for the night. Art in General suggests renting our gallery space for: private receptions; theater group performances and rehearsals; birthday parties; conference meetings; artist talks and other special occasions and functions.

• The 6th floor gallery has a capacity of 350 people and is perfect for large events and gatherings. Keep in mind that the gallery may accommodate fewer people depending on seat and table arrangements

• Availability is subject to exhibition schedules and reservations. Art in General is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM., and the gallery space is available for rental outside regular hours.

• Art in General does not provide catering, set-up/clean-up or security, and it is the renter’s responsibility to pay a $15/hour staffing fee for one Art in General staff member to be present for the duration of the event, and to close up the space afterwards. There is a $75 clean-up fee. In addition, the renter is responsible for any further cleaning, staffing and security fees that are deemed necessary, and for any additional delivery or installation fees, as well as any necessary repairs for damages sustained during the rental period.

• Smoking is prohibited in the building.

• Art in General provides a limited number of chairs and tables to help with the creation of ambiance for your special event

• A copy of any invitations created must be submitted to Art in General, and any use of Art in General’s name must be approved.

• Fees: Corporate: $2,000 per day; Non-profit: $1,000 per day
