Inspired by an eclectic combination of subjects, such as urban archeology, circus processions and open-scripted and collaborative filmmaking processes, the exhibition of Little & Furgason at Art in General includes sculptures created from materials drawn from local buildings under construction. With these assisted ready-mades, this artists-duo reconfigure the gallery into a theatrical stage—a construction of oddities where actors perform during the exhibition period.

This project is commissioned by Art in General through its New Commissions Program. The New Commissions Program is made possible by The Institute of Museum and Library Services, an independent federal grant-making agency dedicated to creating and sustaining a nation of learners by helping libraries and museums serve their communities and the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.
