Walker Street is part of a series of public “perturbations” created by Christian Alexa. For this project, he has covered the street-level window with a mirror that registers the flux of daily life. The concept of the window as a static, enclosed object is redefined as a dynamic reflection of modern life. Throughout the duration of the show, the mirrored window will be photographed on a daily schedule.
