Contemporary Israel is part of the Art/Israel series, which was organized by Mary Evangelist and features the work of contemporary Israeli artists. A jury including Nathan Kolodner, Peter Krausz, Kay Larson, Carter Radcliffe, and Lowery Sims chose the initial selection of artists for this exhibition, which was then narrowed to include one installation and a series of paintings.
