For the first installment of the Video 2005 program, eleven videos will be shown by artists from New York, Buenos Aires, Chicago, Los Angeles and Helsinki. Titled Shorts on the Self, these works depict the artist performing for the camera. Often absurd and direct, the works function as self-reflexive, comic or tragic portraits.
