A group exhibition of fourteen artists, Material Whirled features unusual materials such as lint, cow dung, staples, recycled toys, lottery tickets, surgical plastic tubing, corn and sponges, which are surprisingly transformed into works of art. Comprised of painting, sculpture, photography, and installations, the works in this exhibition manipulate the viewers’ perceptions and preconceived assumptions. Laura Lobdell curated the exhibition.
