Breakfast in General

Special Event
Mar 28, 2008
9:00 AM

Join friends at Art in General for “Breakfast in General,” a breakfast with performances that are a part of John Furgason and Carlos Little’s Little & Furgason Presents, an exhibition commissioned by Art in General through its New Commissions Program. John and Carlos have been collaborating since the mid-1990s, and their practice has been largely influenced by the circus processional of the 19th century, and by the architectural history of Lower Manhattan. Also on display at Art in General is an exhibition by Artist in Residence Olivia Plender, and an exhibition by Fawn Krieger entitled COMPANY. Visitors will have a chance to browse around in the COMPANY store which is conceptually structured as a social and economic project, and formally materialized as a perpetually changing sculpture showcasing recognizable items for sale.

“Breakfast in General” is not open to the general public and has limited space. Please RSVP by March 21st to Meghan DellaCrosse at 212-219-0473, ext 29 or Meghan@artingeneral.org.
