Colleen Asper is an artist and writer based in Brooklyn, NY. She received her MFA from Yale University and holds a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Recent exhibitions include Name It by Trying to Name It and OS4, both at the Drawing Center, New York and Egress at P!, New York. Asper’s work has been reviewed in publications such as Artforum, The New York Times, and The New Yorker, and she has contributed texts to publications including Art in America, Lacanian Ink, and Paper Monument. As part of Hole, an ongoing collaboration with Marika Kandelaki, Asper has performed at venues in New York including the Bowery Poetry Club, Soloway, Garden Party/Arts, and Floating Library.
