Nick Darmstaedter (b. 1988) is an American artist living and working in New York, NY. Darmstaedter attended the School of Visual Arts, New York, NY. He was recently the subject of a solo exhibition Bells and Whistles Can of Worms, Ritter / Zamet, London, United Kingdom (2012), and showed with fellow Still House member, Brendan Lynch, in U Can’t Say That Again Again, Bugada & Cargnel, Paris, France (2013). Darmstaedter has been included in numerous group exhibitions with The Still House Group, including AN AMERICANA, American Academy, Rome, Italy (2013); Honk if you don’t Exist, The Fireplace Project, East Hampton, NY (2013); This is THIS, Zach Feuer Gallery, New York (2013); and Banana Hammock, Art Basel Miami (2012). He was named on one of 25 artists to watch in 2013 by Complex Art + Design.
